Maha-Stay 360
Digital guest register for lodges and hotels, visible to police in real time
What it does
- Lodge staff enter each guest in under a minute from a phone, with ID photo capture
- Police station and SP office see entries live, with missing-ID and watch-list flags
- Night report and monthly register generated automatically, no paper register needed
- Marathi and English interface for lodge owners and constables alike
- Works on any phone browser, no app install, data kept inside India
The problem it solves
Every lodge in Maharashtra must keep a guest register and police must be able to check it. In practice the register is a notebook, checks happen after an incident, and nobody can answer “who stayed in this town last night” in time.
Maha-Stay 360 replaces the notebook with a phone screen. The lodge enters the guest, the entry is instantly visible at the police station and the SP office, and anything unusual (no ID, a name on a watch list, a guest staying far longer than usual) is flagged the same minute.
How a pilot runs
- We give two or three lodges in one town access at no cost.
- The local police station gets a login and a one-page Marathi guide.
- After the first month, the SP office reviews the data and decides on a district rollout.
What the SP office gets
- A district map of lodges with live occupancy
- Search across every register by name, ID number, phone or vehicle
- Daily and monthly reports in the format the department already uses
- Audit log of every entry and edit
Why it is safe to adopt
Guest data belongs to the police department, is stored on Indian servers, and every access is logged. The system is built to satisfy the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with clear retention rules.
